It's smart to replace your scooter's griptape with a newer or cooler design. It's super easy and takes no time at all.
To make it even easier, we have created this video below, which illustrates how you can quickly replace the griptape on your scooter.
Replacing griptape on a scooter
Follow our step-by-step guide below and watch our video on how to replace your scooter's griptape:
Start by removing your scooter's old griptape, for example, by using a hairdryer to heat up the old griptape so it can be easily peeled off.
Before applying your new griptape, make sure it properly fits your scooter deck.
Next, place the griptape along your scooter deck.
Finally, for a cleaner cut, you can trim your griptape so it fits even better.
Choose the right griptape
Note that some griptapes are already pre-cut for specific scooters. If you choose one of these, be sure to check the name to ensure it fits your scooter.
If you choose a griptape that is not pre-cut, just make sure it is larger than your deck so you can trim it as needed.
