My Trucks Turn Too Much or Not Enough
If you experience that it's tough to move your skateboard, you simply have to take a look at your trucks. Maybe it's difficult for you to turn, or your trucks make loud noises when you turn? Maybe it's too easy to turn and feels sturdy when you catch speed? It's completely normal to experience these things, and they are also very easy to fix! If it's difficult to turn on your skateboard, it's either turning too much or too little, you can do the following steps:
- Loosen or tighten your trucks by turning the kingpin. If you loosen the kingpin, you don't need lot of pressure to turn the board. If you tighten the kingpin, you have to press harder on the board to turn.
- Change your bushing to one with a different hardness. All bushing have a certain hardness - The softer your bushing is, the more easy it is to turn your board.
