Headsets

A scooter headset is a set of 2 large bearings and possibly cups and shims belonging to it. The bearings are located at the top and bottom of the decks head tube so that the fork can rotate freely. These bearings may be open or closed. We always recommend closed bearings for your headset. The headsets for the scooter can be integrated or non-integrated in the deck. This depends on whether the bearing is placed directly in the head tube (integrated) or if metal cups are required to hold the bearing (non-integrated).
